Bespoke Acupuncture Therapy

I practice Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM), Western style acupuncture and Master Tung's style of acupuncture. Different styles work best for different goals.

Evidence-based literature and clinical practice suggest that a minimum of 6-10 sessions is recommended, especially when it comes to internal issues, especially if they are deeply rooted. Less sessions may be sufficient in cases of musculoskeletal complaints.

Visit the FAQ's page to know more about how acupuncture works.

Here are some of the complaints acupuncture can help with

- acute/chronic pain

What to expect from an acupuncture session?

  • Acupuncture for musculoskeletal injuries. The initial session will be of an hour and it includes intake form filling, assessment, diagnosis, discussion of plan of action and your acupuncture treatment.

  • Acupuncture for internal medicine. The initial session is of 90 minutes and it includes a thorough consultation, analysis of the tongue and the pulse, diagnosis and your acupuncture treatment. Before you leave, we will discuss the plan of action moving forward.

In both cases, if the health condition is complex, the follow up sessions will be of an hour each. If the case is straight forward then 45-minute follow up sessions may suffice. We will discuss this on the initial session.

You may be given lifestyle advice to help you maintain the benefits of the therapy for longer.

Book a pack of 6 x 1-hour sessions with a 10% discount, at £270 instead of £300.

Book a pack of 6 x 45-minute sessions with a 10% discount, at £243 instead of £270.

After the initial appointment I will know better which package suits you best.

  • All courses/packs are paid in advance as a one-off bulk payment.

  • If you do not show up to your appointment or cancel/reschedule with less than 24-hour notice, that session is non-recoverable and counts as used.

  • If you request to drop the course half way, we will only be able to refund you for the unused credit in the case of:

    • city/country change and will need proof of the new address

    • a health condition worsening and becoming a contraindication of acupuncture. You will need to provide medical proof.

    • If you are not able to provide proof, you may pass the unused credit to someone else.

  • We keep a £10 admin fee when issuing a refund.

  • When issuing a refund, the sessions already used will become fully priced and the refund will reflect the difference. This is to avoid misuse of the kind discount. In example, let’s say that you take a pack of 6 (£50 per session normally; £45 with the pack discount) and you use 4 of them. If you request a refund at this point, I would keep £20 for the used sessions (£5 x 4) and £10 admin fee. This means you would get £60 back instead of £90.
